Question by brainiac : what would be a good revenge for a bad driver? when someone cuts you off?
last night when someone put their high beams on behind me, I slowed down to the speed limit. it was foggy and only one lane.
I will NOT speed up to an unsafe speed and crash just because the person behind me is “in a hurry”
I am wondering, what could be done? I do not want to cause any real damage. water based paint or garbage on their car? report them as a “drunk driver”?

If they cut me off, I’ll zoom past, cut them off and brake hard.
They sit on my ass, I’ll hit the brakes.
They do any of these, and we come to a red light, I’ll get out the car. They usually panic and blow through the light.
If you know where they live, brake fluid will strip the paint off the car.

You need to do nothing. Bad drivers eliminate themselves from the gene pool pretty quickly. More important than getting even is to get out of their way. If a fool is on his way to a single car accident, then give him the right of way and wave him by. Then when you see his tail lights upside down in a ditch somewhere you can have that moment of satisfaction you were looking for.
WARNING: As much as I like the idea of giving someone who cuts you off a taste of their own medicine, you have to be careful. Road rage is very real, and you could get someone who decides to pull you out of your car and beat you up or may even be carrying a gun. You’re better off just letting it go. Besides, why stoop to their level?
My fantasy is to see their car somewhere and deflate all four of their tires.
Ya done good in that situation – don’t know what else you could have done, unless there was a turn-off somewhere, and even then, you would have been within reason to think the guy was a wacko. I don’t know that I would turn off a one lane foggy road if someone was that aggressive behind me.
You can report their license to DMV, you can mention that they were driving recklessly and endangering the welfare of the rest of the motorists on the road. You can also call the local precinct if it is an ongoing pursuit. If you are driving through a few towns and you are concerned you can call 911 if it is excessive.
