A police k9 may conduct a “free air search” without your consent. If the dog alerts on the vehicle, you don’t have the right to refuse a search of the vehicle. But here’s an idea… how about not being a shitbag in the first place.

This will not work, trust me I’ve tried. I was pulled over said exactly this. At first I thought I’d gotten away with it once he went back to his patrol car. Until he came back to my window informing me that a judge was on his way out to the scene to warrant a search for my vehicle. I sat there for 3 hours until this judge showed up and DID warrant the search for my vehicle. Now I’m facing charges for drug trafficking. Thanks for nothing FlexYourRights.
