Q&A: When a U.S. Citizen goes through U.S. Customs from the U.K. do they check for any outstanding warrants?
Question by muse5878 : When an U.S. Resident goes with UNITED STATE Customs from the U.K. do they examine for any impressive warrants? USA Citizen staying in U.K. coming back to the States and they have a recent “Bench Warrant” from Pennsylvania (enforced by the County Court for existing and unpaid Youngster Support). They lost their job and are currently searching for work (therefore, no kid support for about 9 months). They can not get a Visa to work in the U.K. (I do not understand if the warrant had something to do with that), so they are returning to the U.S.A to look for work.
Does anybody know the answer to that concern also … Would an exceptional warrant effect having the ability to get a work visa for the U.K.? They got a job there however couldn’t get the work visa. So, now they still have no job.
Either way how might they care for this problem when they get back so that they do not get detained? What if they just can’t pay for an attorney? Best answer:

YES, we know about all warrants. The only time we let you go is if the agency that put in the warrant doesn’t want to extradite you. If they want you, we will arrest you and turn you over to local police for extradition.
