Beverly Hills Criminal Defense Attorney Robert M. Bernstein, represented a client at trial who was charged with three felony drug charges; Possession of Cocaine for sale in violation of Health and Safety Code section 11351, Possession of Methamphetamine for sale in violation of Health and Safety Code section 11378 and Possession of Marijuana for sale in violation of Health and Safety Code section 11359.
Mr. Bernstein’s client had been arrested previously in the year following an investigation by Drug Enforcement Agents of the United States Department of Justice. If convicted of these charges, the defendant had been facing sixteen years in state prison.
Following a two week jury trial in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, the jury acquitted Mr. Bernstein’s client on all three charges, returning unanimous verdicts of not guilty to all the counts.
