Partners Alpert and Schreyer are long time Maryland residents who have been providing legal representation to Maryland and D.C. residents for decades. The trial law firm was formed in order to provide the extensive trial skills of the firm’s founders and their team of associates to clients in need of legal assistance in the specific areas of personal injury and criminal defense. The firm’s practice areas will include auto and truck accidents, DUI/DWI defense, criminal defense, personal injury cases workman’s compensation benefits claims and medical malpractice law suits.
Attorney Andrew D. Alpert is a former Prince George’s and Charles County prosecutor who has specific training in DUI/DWI law. He is one of only a few attorneys in the Washington D.C area who is a NHTSA certified field sobriety test instructor and is certified to own and operate numerous breath testing machines.
Attorney Michael Schreyer, is one of a small number of personal injury lawyers who has served as chairman of the Maryland State Bar Negligence, Insurance and Workers’ Compensation section. He is a well known as an aggressive and experienced personal injury attorney who has successfully tried over one thousand personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. Schreyer has also successfully overturned and defended trial court decisions through appeals to Maryland’s highest courts.

Mr. Alpert has been named to SuperLawyers in Maryland and the District of Columbia on numerous occasions.
