  1. THORGIRLSWAR! says:

we just went through your mail and it seems your subscription to MAD is due for renewal.

  2. FRAGINAL-PINOY AKO says:

The law on warrantless mail searches must be questioned and filed appropriately as unconstitutional because it is an intrusion into the privacy of persons and violative of the constitution.

  3. NONAME says:

Might as well wiretap, check mail, search who you talk to, tax for it, read your call logs, sell your criminal history, exploit your mental disorders, sell what meds you’re on, victimize you for your assets, give tax cuts to those who are more fortunate, investigate the less fortunate, teach to hate opposing ideas, investigate those who oppose ideas, hate higher education for liberal thoughts… Wait.. Wait… What does Russia do?

  4. Tweet says:

No way! Same with the phone tapping!

  5. DavidNH says:

    No, and yes.

  6. ProudAmerican says:

Postal Vice President Tom Day said: “As has been the long-standing practice, first-class mail is protected from unreasonable search and seizure when in postal custody. Nothing in the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act changes this protection. The president is not exerting any new authority.”

    Hardly warrantless.

  7. Alex B. Ph.D. says:

Hell, what do I care if Bush reads my junk mail?

  8. Kenneth C says:

The only way I would support this new Warrentless Mail search is if it is a matter of life or death, and even if the mail was opened, the Government must STILL show a judiciary body WHY they didn’t have the time to request a warrant or that body of evidence would have to be thrown out. Listen, I personally have nothing to hide. (If the gov’t could sort out my junk mail THAT would be a service) HOWEVER, where will the erosion of rights stop? We live in very scary times and I think our founding fathers would shed a tear for this country and if our founding fathers were alive today would explain that this country is on the path to tyranny.

  9. tcbtoday123 says:

Times have changed since 9/11 and there are no ways around this! If the government feels the need to do whatever it takes to prevent another horror like 9/11, I want them to do so. America is the country always helping the other countries and it’s time to help ourselves, from another possible beating.
