An Alternative to CRRA Heard The future of solid waste disposal was on the table Tuesday morning at the Torrington campus of the University of Connecticut when representatives of many area towns met with officials from the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority (CRRA) and state legislators to discuss the possible formation of a new Central Connecticut Solid Waste Authority (CCSWA).
