Is it true Michael Phelps arrested for DUI?

Is this true that he was arrested in 2004 for DUI in Maryland. I heard they let him off on probation because he was an Olympian ? He has charges of DUI, running a red light, failure to stop, underage drinking and wreckless driving???? Anyone confirm. I am curious.

If it is then his achievements are even better as he’s a young man who has realised the error of his ways and found focus in his life (with bells on).Fair play to him.All the more reason for America to be proud of him.
