Woman charged with DUI in crash that killed 4-year-old
A Northwest Side woman has been charged with drunk driving after she crashed into two cars over the weekend, killing a 4-year-old boy in her car. Laticia Medel, 24, of the 2100 block of North Austin Avenue, also was charged with speeding, driving without a license, transporting an open container of alcohol, failure to properly restrain a child in her car and driving without insurance.
