Berg Injury Lawyers filed a lawsuit against the School District of West Contra Costa Unified School on behalf of victims of stroke

Berg Injury Lawyers ( http://www.berginjurylawyers.com) announces that it has filed a complaint against the West Contra Costa Unified School District, on behalf of Hassan Rahgozar, a high school student who was beaten twice in the Hercules Middle / High School Spring last. The second attack was filmed and broadcast over the Internet. The lawsuit was filed Dec. 5, 2005, the Superior Court of California, Contra Costa County (Case No. 05-02539 C).
The lawsuit alleges that the school district to maintain security in the Hercules, middle school / high, not adequately supervised the students in school, could not prevent adults and unauthorized persons from entering the campus school and commit acts of violence against Rahgozar, and not to protect Rahgozar of verbal harassment and physical attacks. Seven young people were involved in the attacks also are named as defendants in the trial.
Hassan Rahgozar17, an Iranian-American citizen, was attacked in a room boy in the Hercules Middle / High School May 6, 2005 Eric Guillebeau 16. At the time of the attack, aged 16, was a classmate at school and Guillebeau was an adult of 18 years was not allowed to be in Hercules, middle school / high.
Guillebeau and 16 were with the complicity of an assault by another student at school who recorded the attack and made available on the Internet, where thousands saw it before it was removed. Video clips of the attack were broadcast on news programs around the country.
Rahgozar suffered a broken jaw and two black eyes in the attack. Guillebeau and 16 face charges of two felony assault stemming from the attack. Guillebeau not question the battery causing serious bodily harm. He was sentenced to one year in jail and three years probation. The 16-year-old pleaded guilty in Juvenile Court to charges related to the fight.
April 29, 2005, Rahgozar was assaulted, beaten and robbed for 16 years with another group of students taking the circumstances of the heinous attack on May 6 and premeditated. Rahgozar mother met with school officials and informed them of a physical attack, as well as the continuous insults, racial slurs and threats Rahgozar had been subjected to this group of individuals. Despite the knowledge and awareness of racial slurs and insults and threats of violence against Rahgozar, Hercules Middle / High School and West Contra Costa Unified School District does not adequately protect students and other Rahgozar.
“Such violence can not be tolerated, especially in our schools.
