the eq can control the volume and it also has a sub gain it tweaks the mid range tweeter and sub frequencys.

RE Audio Xt 800.4v3 running the doors and tweets and a RF T400-2 running the rear deck 6X9′s. sounds great just wondering what a EQ would do? and I’d put it in the same spot as yours.
just trying to tweak my system on the fly … this is what i have going on 2011 max white sv dropped … i have 1 12W7 being pushed by a RF T1000-1BD 4ohm at 912 per the performance verification certificate. T1693 POWER 6X9 in the rear deck, RF T Power 6.5′s in the rear doors, RF 6X9 T Power coax in the front doors with Memphis MC tweets in the dash.
