New Hope for DWI and DUI Violators

Lamar, CO (PRWEB) December 31, 2005

Anyone arrested for a drunk driving offense used to be mercilessly punished – but a new website called was created to help those caught and arrested for drunk driving. This new site aims to lessen the stress and fear of those arrested for DWI or DUI and is totally free.

Anti-drinking and driving organizations are likely to cry foul because included in the site are sample case summaries of people who have beat their drunk driving charge in court or had the punishments lessened significantly.

The creator of has been a victim of the severe drinking and driving laws. Says the site creator, “The wrong people are being targeted and are paying for it. They keep making the punishments more severe but little has been accomplished to deter the ‘true problem drivers’.”

Also, because of the abusive practices of police having contests to see who can catch the most DUI offenders, people are getting pulled over for ridiculous violations such as failing to use a turn signal. This gives officers a reason to stop a driver and search for people who have drank alcohol. Even one small drink can rest on the breath of the driver and cause the police officer to run his gamut of tests and embarrass the driver.

Thus, the wrong people are targeted and they need solutions to being arrested for DUI.

Since the laws keep getting harsher and the legal BAC continues to drop to levels that threaten our social way of life, is a welcome solution to this problem and encourages all those who have beat a drunk driving conviction to relay their story and have it posted on Stories can be email to:

She will be 22 at the time of our trip. And to clarify, she did not recieve a DUI or DWI. She was well under the legal limit but being she was underage they gave her the citation. where do I found info on Iowa law”offense by owners”?

Question by suzieQ: where do I found info on Iowa law”offense by owners”?
Iowa has a charge called “Offense by owners” It is used when your vehicle is in accident and you don’t tell police who had your car or what happened. How do I found out the meaning of the charge or the state statue. Is this a Misd or felony? Where do I look? Does anyone know anything about this at all? Were you charged with it and if so what happened??

Best answer:

Answer by mom of girls
Offense by owners – means that the offense was by the owner of the vehicle. If the owner will not say who did the offense they are ultimately responsible for any and all damages and can be sued by injured parties. It would be a misdemeanor. I was not charged with this but we have it here in OH and is used with red light cameras.

If such a form exists, it would be in a state form book at a law library. Typically, these are not form motions. They are substantive motions.
